Mental Health First Aid Training in Glasgow

Glasgow is home. It is where we train, and where our therapists see clients every week.

We deliver accredited workplace mental health training across Glasgow, on site at your workplace or at our own base in Carmyle, in the east end of the city. Every course is led by a practising therapist, not a trainer reading someone else's slides.

Two ways to train in Glasgow

Most Glasgow teams choose whichever is easier for them. Both give your people the same course, the same trainer and the same follow up support.

At your workplace

We come to you, anywhere in Glasgow. Training your team on site means no travel for staff, less time away from the job, and the chance to talk about mental health in the place where people actually work.

At our base in Carmyle

Orchard Park, 10 Gardenside Avenue, Carmyle, Glasgow, G32 8DR. A calm, private space away from the office, in the east end of the city.

Who we work with in Glasgow

Organisations across the city

We have trained teams in Glasgow charities, a housing association and a large engineering employer, alongside organisations across Scotland, the UK and Europe. We keep our clients' names private unless they have asked us to share them.

What has stood out most is the way Andy operates as a genuine extension of our team rather than simply as an external supplier. He brings strong subject-matter expertise, is highly responsive, and has consistently helped us identify and deliver the most appropriate provision.

We are based in the city, so there are no travel or accommodation charges for training anywhere in Glasgow.

Support that carries on

Every course includes the Reach Out app, so your people have practical guidance to hand long after the training day.

Questions

Common questions from Glasgow employers

Can you run the training at our workplace in Glasgow?

Yes. We deliver on site anywhere in Glasgow. All we need is a room with space for the group and a screen. If that is difficult, you can use our base in Carmyle instead.

How many people can attend one course?

Our half day course takes up to 16 people. For larger teams we run more than one session, often on the same day or across a week, so cover is easier to arrange.

Is the training accredited?

Yes. Our Level 1, 2 and 3 courses are credit rated and recognised by Qualifications Scotland, with levels that are equivalent to the RQF in England. Delegates are assessed through role play scenarios, case studies and a multiple choice and short answer assessment, so their certificate shows they achieved the standard, not just that they attended. The certificate lasts three years.

How much does training cost in Glasgow?

Prices start at £995 for a half day course for up to 12 people, or £1,250 for up to 16. There are no travel charges anywhere in Glasgow. Book a free call and we will give you an exact price for your team. See our guide to mental health first aid training costs for what should be included.

Do you also train outside Glasgow?

Yes. We deliver across Scotland, including Edinburgh, Stirling, Perth, Dundee, Aberdeen and Inverness, and across the UK and Europe for larger organisations.

Can the training be done online?

Yes. Every level can be delivered fully online or fully in person. We do not mix the two, with some people in the room and others on screen, because neither group gets the experience they need.

Which level does our team need?

Anyone can take any level. The right one depends on the role someone will take on and how your organisation wants to use them, not on how senior they are. People can start at Level 1 and move up. If you are not sure, book a free call and we will work it out with you.

Do you run refresher training?

Yes. The certificate lasts three years, and we strongly recommend a short refresher every year so the skills stay fresh. We can run refresher training for your first aiders.
